Create Meaningful Moments

Coming to a 'Sip and Paint' is about more than just creating art. It is about spending quality time with the people we love.
How often do people tell us to 'put down our phones' and really talk? Even my 6 year old tells me now, "Put your phone down half an hour before bed mummy!" But it can be so tricky to plan in time together or find things to do that aren't just another meal out. And if we are doing an activity, how are we connecting?
The collaborative act of painting side-by-side creates a sense of shared accomplishment and new memories, strengthening the bonds we have with each other.
It brings me so much joy seeing the various groups of people that come to sip and paint events and the benefits they get from spending that quality time together and truly feeling connected again.

Sometimes, I just stand back and watch. I see mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duos, groups of best friends, sisters, couples etc. All of them laughing, chatting, supporting, building self-esteem and trying something new together. ✨️
It makes me smile to think these people will have their paintings on their walls at home and will be able to look at them fondly for years to come and will remember the time they spent together. 💛
